SNY Movie Spotlight: The Ski Trip

On Sunday, the new MTV network "Logo" premiered an original film by Brooklyn writer-director Maurice Jamal titled "The Ski Trip". This indie film also featured Jamal as the leader of a group of gay black New Yorkers escaping the city for a weekend in the Catskills.

No one actually gets to ski, perhaps because there's little time left over with all the catfights, secrets, lies and unrequited love. This is Jamal's first movie. Before that he has worked with Spike Lee and on the very popular "Chappelle Show". The Ski Trip can be seen throughout the month on Logo.
