sny spotlight: Google Earth

The good people of New York tend to think of the city as the center of the universe, but Google has set out to prove us wrong. Not only can you search the web with the popular Google search engine and email to your heart's content with GMail, you can now literally search the entire planet with the new Google Earth.

This may very well be a stalker's dream come true, provided they have a powerful enough computer and a broadband connection. There are three versions of the Google Earth software: free, plus (for $20) and pro (for a whopping $400).

Once installed, just type in an address anywhere on earth and watch as the google sat cam narrows down to the street and surrounding areas. You will feel like the CIA with this program.
But it's not for everyone. If you have an older computer and/or a slow internet connection Google Earth will not work.

Visit the website for system requirements and other information and have fun exploring the world beyond your backyard.
